With a large Holland pavilion and a grand gala dinner at this year’s Air Cargo Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Schiphol Cargo gave visitors an appealing taste of what to expect at the Air Cargo Forum 2010 in Amsterdam.
The Air Cargo Forum was held from 4-6 November and attracted a total of over 3,000 visitors. Thirteen businesses from the Dutch air freight sector participated in the Holland pavilion, ranging from airlines, shipping agents and ground handling agents to customs, IT and security. In short, all facets of the air freight chain were represented.
The gala dinner on 5 November marked the launch of the Air Cargo Forum 2010. More than 600 international guests, all involved in air freight, enjoyed a successful evening filled with entertainment and culinary delights in a Dutch/Amsterdam Airport Schiphol-themed ballroom. The dinner was made possible thanks in part to Air France – KLM Cargo, TNT and Air Cargo Netherlands.
The 2010 Air Cargo Forum will be the event bringing international air freight aviation players together during what is anticipated to be a flourishing period for this sector. With its prime position as a logistics hub, Amsterdam provides the perfect platform for this event. The 2010 Air Cargo Forum will take place from 2-4 November 2010.
