Schiphol Media Option Procedure

Taking an option
You can take an option on an available object for a one week period. This option always expires on Fridays at 12.00 a.m. local time. The option is not renewed automatically so you have to renew it yourself. If no-one else wants to take an option, you can extend your option once more for a period of one week. Your Schiphol Media account manager will contact you on this matter.

NB: If you apply for an option on Monday or Tuesday, it will expire on Friday of the same week. If you request an option after Tuesday, the option will expire on the Friday of the following week.

Example:
Option request: Tuesday 4 April
End of option: Friday 7 April 12.00 a.m.

Option request: Wednesday 5 April
End of option: Friday 14 April 12.00 a.m.

2nd option
Whenever you have the first option and a client wants an option on the same object in the same period, the other client will take a second option. We will let you know if someone has a second option. If you are not yet able to book the object before your option expires, the person with the second option will automatically get the first option for the following week.

Booking by another client
If you have a first option and another client wants to book that same object in the same period, we have to receive written confirmation to this effect from this client. Once we have received this written confirmation, we will inform you that we have received a booking. From that moment you will have 48 hours to decide whether you want to book the object or not.
