Schiphol International is continuously working, on a selective basis, to strengthen its international position by forming alliances with international airports. The participating interests and management contracts are, from Schiphol's point of view, always long-term alliances which are aimed at strengthening the position of the partner to which, in addition to possible financial investment, Schiphol always aims to bring high added value.
John F. Kennedy Airport, Terminal 4, New York, USA
Schiphol Group USA, a subsidiary of Schiphol Group, has had a 40% shareholding in the JFK International Air Terminal LLC (JFK IAT) consortium since 1997, with a 25-year management contract for operating the new 140,000 m2 Terminal 4 at JFK Airport in New York.
